PILOT SCHOOL
The Pyrineum Pilot School offers you the chance to train to attain your ultra-light aircraft pilot licence in a privileged setting, at the foot of the Pyrenees, with aircraft with a personality of their very own and with the additional option of using a simulator. At Pyrineum we teach the skills needed to attain a fixed or rotary-wing pilot licence.
The theory teaching combines on-site sessions with an instructor at the Pyrineum facilities which we use to provide you with all the materials, videos and a forum in which a tutor will respond to any doubts you may have. You will learn all the general notions regarding climatology, the basic radio network, mechanics and the principles of flying. The theory exam can be taken freely whenever you feel prepared, as there are three examination periods each year; in March, June and November.
- Be over 16 years of age, although the candidate will not have the qualification until he/she is 18
- Authorisation from a parent/legal guardian in the case of minors
- Photocopy national ID card
- A passport sized photo

Theory training

Flying classes
- Cost 1 hour flight in fixed-wing light aircraft
Payment method: When registering, payment for the theory training and two hours of flying must be made. The remaining hours of flying are paid for as they are taken.
The school fleet comprises three models that share common features: safety, stability and ease of piloting. The Tecnam P92 Echo Classic Deluxe and the Tecnam P2002 are ideal aircraft for becoming a fixed-wing pilot.
Our team of instructors is led by Pedro Santurde, with over 1,000 hours of flight experience, and the Operations and Navigation consultant Paco Rodríguez, part of the World Rally Championship crew, in the modality of accuracy testing.
